Christians For Liberty Conference Friday Event – Colin Gunn

The Christians for Liberty 2015 Conference is coming to Austin for an incredible weekend of learning and fellowship.

Today we are pleased to announce that our Friday night program (August 7, 7pm) will be presented by documentary filmmaker Colin Gunn. It will be held in the Mabee Ballroom at St. Edwards University Ragsdale Center – the same room as the main conference activities on Saturday.

Colin Gunn is an award-winning writer/director/producer, accomplished animator and podcaster. He is known for such documentaries as IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America and Captivated: Finding Freedom in a Media Captive Culture. Originally from Hamilton Scotland, Colin Lives in Texas with his wife and 9 children.

Colin’s CFL program will cover the vastness of the modern health care system, highlighting his most recent documentary Wait Till It’s Free. The film covers how the state has completely discombobulated the relationship between doctor, patient, and economic needs. Besides talking about the insanity that is Obamacare, Colin will also show us alternatives that we Christians have before us to potentially exit the system and take care of each other in a different way.

Following Colin’s presentation, everyone is invited to stay in the main hall to meet Colin and other conference attendees in an evening social (light desserts and coffee/tea will be available). We will also have a full viewing of the documentary (80 min) for those who would like to see more.
