Ep 82: The Decline of American Christianity 

In this episode, I analyze an article published by Dr. Matthew Bates entitled ‘Conscience Uncoupling from the Church is the New Temptation, about why many people are leaving the church, how to know if someone might be willing to stay, and how we can tell if someone has an authentic faith. Bates makes a lot of very important points, and I supplement his review with comments based on my own experience as a Christian and in ministry, as well as explore some of the reasons why I think people are leaving the church and what we can do to bring them back. There are a lot of really important issues that I touch on in this episode, and I hope to follow some of these threads in the future!
