Jonny Watt

Project Development Intern

Jonny is a senior at Wheaton College, graduating in May 2023 with a degree in Political Science, a certificate in PPE (Politics, Philosophy, and Economics), and a certificate in PACS (Peace and Conflict Studies.) He is working this semester at LCI as an intern.

Jonny’s interest in libertarianism began in high school, during which time he interned with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, another liberty-minded organization in Austin, Texas. Although Jonny came to Wheaton as both a Christian and a libertarian, over time he’s become increasingly aware and appreciative of the compatibility between the two. Having developed a fascination with Anabaptist thought, Jonny views the Biblical call to non-violence as the foundation of his political beliefs.

During the course of his studies, he discovered LCI to be a valuable resource in aiding him to appreciate this inherent compatibility, and he is thrilled with the opportunity to be an intern for LCI.
