Jessica Hooker

Contributor

First introduced to libertarianism through Richard Maybury’s writings, Jessica’s journey from conservative to libertarian was in large part influenced by articles on LCI (then LCC). Nearly ten years later, she sees the pursuit of liberty as a natural outcome of her passion to follow Christ.

A Maryland native, Jessica was home educated and graduated from high school in 2009. Since then she has pursued leadership and communication training through the Institute for Cultural Communicators, most recently serving as team leader for their 2015 touring intern team.

Jessica is in the process of completing a series of historical fiction novels; and blogs sporadically about political theory, leadership, and life on her personal blog,treasonoustruth.com.

When she’s not dreaming of backpacking Europe, she enjoys anything things related to co!ee, fountain pens, and Pixar.
