Jacob spoke to LP presidential candidate Mike ter Maat at Freedom Fest about his campaign and the issues he is most passionate about. Mike spent his career in law enforcement and has seen firsthand what issues plague our law enforcement and criminal justice systems, and a major part of his platform is focused on calling attention to these issues. Police reform has been a major focus in the last few years, but the problems stem not only from the power structure of the police and courts, but from bad laws that the justice systems are supposed to enforce. Mike also speaks about the economic reforms that we need and how the war on terror has been turned inward to suppress people’s civil liberties
