Identity Politics and Race: GodArchy Podcast #23

Can politics fix racism?

I don’t think so. In fact, I believe politics exacerbates racial tensions.

Race has become one of the most dominant issues in American politics. On one side, we have a bunch of people who think everything is racist and blame all of society’s ills on white people. On the other side, we have a bunch of people who don’t believe racism is even a problem and want to minimize its impact on American society.

In my view, they both get it wrong.

In this episode of the GodArchy podcast, I delve into racism and identity politics from both a biblical and libertarian perspective.

It’s a complicates issue, but ultimately, I believe identity and racial politics is used as a tool to divide people up and empower government. Racism is real, but politics isn’t going to fix that.
