Concealed Carry on Campus in Austin
ByIf you recall, January 20th was inauguration day of our new Glorious Leader, and many libertarians took over the West Mall on the UT campus to protest said leader’s policies. At one point, we were approached by ABC-On-Campus for interviews regarding “concealed carry on campus,” which is currently being decided upon in the Texas state government. I was one of the guys interviewed supporting the measures. Our minister at church told me today that he saw me on the news, so I naturally had to go find this clip. And here it is…

I don’t think I need to explain how non-sensical the gun control argument is. Still, it amazes me that people don’t realize that the V-Tech shooter wouldn’t care if there was a ban or not.
It is rather sad. What we need is a law on the books that whenever someone bans law abiding citizens from bringing firearms onto a property that requires them to post a sign that reads:
“Rape, Rob, and Murder here, there are no firearms present.”
Not a bad idea, Ward. Sort of like the “Gun-free-zone” signs we put up across campus leading up to the student government meeting.
