Welcome to the official page for the Christians for Liberty Conference 2014. To register, scroll down to the form below. Remember, the early registration deadline is July 13!
The Christian libertarian movement has grown by leaps and bounds over the past 6 years, and LibertarianChristians.com has been at the forefront of that growth. Even so, all of us Christian libertarians still encounter difficulties organizing and networking to help spread liberty ideas with our fellow Christians. Social networks, such as the Christian libertarian Facebook group, have had some success in bringing Christian libertarians together online, but it is time for us to take the next step forward. Therefore, LCC invites you to join us in Austin, Texas on August 2nd, 2014 for the first ever Christians for Liberty Conference.
Never before has there been an event like this. We expect to have well over 100 dedicated Christian libertarians gathered together for the express purpose of fellowship, equipping, and encouragement, enabling us all to make a difference in ourselves, in our churches, and in our communities, all for Christ and for liberty. I hope that you are as excited as I am about this conference and the future of the Christian libertarian movement. This promises to be a new beginning for all of us as we seek to engage the church and the world with big ideas and loving hearts. I look forward to seeing you in Austin this August!
The Weekend’s Events and Venue
The main event is Saturday, August 2nd, and will take place at St. Edwards University (Mabee Ballroom, Ragsdale Center) in south Austin, just 15 minutes from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The Ragsdale Center is at the corner of Andre and Moody Drive on the main campus, and the Mabee Ballroom is on the 2nd floor. Lunch and dinner on August 2nd are included in your registration fee. Click here for a campus map, and note that parking is at the southwest end of campus in the areas colored blue.
Following the end of formal activities at St. Edwards University, we invite everyone to a social hour at Opal Divine’s Penn Field, on South Congress less than half a mile south of St. Edwards (plenty of parking is available).
We will also be hosting optional events on Friday (Aug. 1) and Sunday (Aug. 3) for those who want to come early and stay late. These adjoining events are still being organized, and more information will be emailed to all participants as details become available.
