Harrison Hoover

Bio

Harrison Hoover and his wife Kylee help run a small beef farm in north-central Pennsylvania. They are also beginning to build up their own self-sufficient homestead. He recently graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.A. in political science. Harrison first found the idea of Christian libertarianism (and anarchism) while attending Grove City College, and was heavily influenced by fellow LCC contributor, Dawson Kiser, to pursue the thought of a free society. Harrison considers himself a Christian before any other title, however, in the realm of libertarianism he sees himself as a market anarchist and pacifist. Some of his more conceptual interests include counter economics, cooperative markets, intentional communities, history, regenerative agriculture, ecology, and private charity. His hobbies include hiking, bouldering, brewing kombucha, cooking, gardening, foraging, baking bread, photography, woodworking, and poetry.
