Tony: Yes, Ellul predates Eller and Ellul greatly influenced him. I haven’t read Eller’s work so I’m really glad you shared that link, thanks!

I have not read this yet but I know that Vernard Eller mentions Ellul as an influence in his own work, "Christian Anarchy: Jesus’ Primacy Over the Powers", which can be found in it's entirety here:http://www.hccentral.com/eller12/index.html#tocI posted the first chapter on my own blog.
