One of the most influential books I have ever read in this area is David Lipscomb's 'On Civil Government' - also available online free. Laurence Vance has a compilation of essays from Lew Rockwell out called 'Christianity and War' - you probably are familiar with that one. Also, John Gatto's 'Underground History of American Education' - lewrockwell.com has been reprinting chapters the past couple of weeks, but the entire book is available free at www.johntaylorgatto.com. Rothbard also has a much shorter book on public education - 'Education, Free and Compulsory' - free online at www.mises.org. I second the recommendation of ‘Discovery of Freedom’.
